  1. Can I install GOODbox on my own, or do I have to get a professional to do it?
    • Yes! You can do it yourself with the assistance of the installation manual and simple hand tools.
  2. Does GOODbox draw power when my car is off? How much power does it draw?
    • No, the GOODbox does not draw any power when your car is off; it is power by the ACCY circuit which is only powered when the key is on.
  3. Is GOODbox using all the information my car computer is capable of, or just selected data?
    • The GOODbox is displaying all relevant data that your car is capable of. Some data cannot be parsed into intelligible user data and is therefore omitted.
  4. What does the boost information mean?
    • Boost is the common name for intake manifold pressure in a forced induction motor. It can be measured by your MAP or the integrated pressure sensor on the GOODbox (RX8 model only)
  5. If I install GOODbox, will my OEM dash features still work? Can I toggle between screens?
    • Yes! All your OEM features still work. You can also disable the GOODbox with the push of the button to set your display back to stock.
  6. Do I have to put GOODbox in a specific place, or can I install it where ever I find room?
    • We have a recommended location but you can install the GOODbox wherever you like as long as the wire harness reaches the installation location in your dash.
  7. Is GOODbox programmable? Can I specify what I see on the dash?
    • Yes! You can program the startup text, auxiliary gauge inputs, and up to four pages of data with your choice of one or two gauges per page.
  8. Does GOODbox come with a warranty?
    • Yes! The GOODbox comes with a one (1) year manufacturer’s warranty against defects with free repair or replacement. If you have a warranty claim, please submit your details on this page.
